Cyrus Napier

Cyrus had his horse shot out from under him during the Civil War.
He said that they were supposed to pay him for it but he never received payment.


Ashford Napier Jr

Purchased federal land in Illinois

Ashford Jr and his brother David Sherlock Napier went to North Carolina. Went to Illinois and then to northern Arkansas, where he died. Ashford and Nancy are buried on Big Pigeon Creek near Mountain Home, Arkansas, but the stones were moved to work on a new lake and the stones have not been found
